The main changes from the parent project are to (a) scale-up the Sub-component to strengthen the CRVS system; (b) scale up and deepen support provided by the parent project to the EMIS and add social accountability activities; (c) fill a financing gap for the planned SDI surveys; (d) scale-up support provided by the parent project to strengthen the systems for safe essential medicines; and (e) support for the use of national HMIS data in policy planning and review. The Results Framework has been revised to reflect the additional activities, to align the indicators with the revised project allocations, and to adjust some of the targets to the revised project Closing Date of December 31, 2020.

The proposed Additional financing will build on the results achieved to date by the parent project as well as align to the priority areas identified by the Government through the Investment Case.
