With GFF support, the government of Cameroon is prioritizing health financing reforms to improve equity in spending, move more resources to the frontlines and expand strategic purchasing for primary health care focusing on four regions with lagging health outcomes. Other priority areas inlcude strengthening civil registration and vital statistics, health management information systems and data quality and promoting pharmaceutical and supply chains reforms. The GFF-supported development impact bond on kangaroo mother care has improved survival chances of low birthweight and/or preterm infants.
