GFF X CIVIC WEBINAR SERIES: The Next Phase of Civil Society and Youth Engagement
Details
The GFF Secretariat is preparing for the next phase of civil society and youth engagement, in collaboration with the World-Bank hosted program, Civil Society and Social Innovation Alliance (CIVIC).
Building on lessons from earlier efforts, this phase aims to strengthen civil society and youth participation in improving health and nutrition outcomes for women, children, and adolescents.
The engagement will include a granting mechanism to select civil society organizations (CSOs) and youth partners focused on advocacy, alignment, coalition building, and improving adolescent girls’ health. To ensure a strong link to country ownership and grassroots advocacy, the granting and technical assistance will be provided by two consortiums who will be competitively selected.
In the coming weeks, the GFF and CIVIC team will launch an international, competitive call for proposals (CfP) for two consortiums with the goal of announcing small grants by the end of the calendar year.
Join our kick-off webinars to gain more insights into the thematic priorities, eligibility criteria, and funding modalities of the upcoming call for proposals.

This first webinar introduces the forthcoming health platform jointly developed by the World Bank’s Civil Society and Social Innovation Alliance (CIVIC) and the Global Financing Facility (GFF).
The session aims to familiarize prospective applicants and partners with the strategic objectives of the CIVIC x GFF partnership, which focuses on strengthening health systems for maternal, child, and adolescent health through civil society-led solutions. Participants will gain insights into the thematic priorities, eligibility criteria, and funding modalities of the upcoming CfP, which seeks to support CSOs working to improve last-mile service delivery, accountability, and youth engagement in health. The webinar will also emphasize the importance of consortium-based applications, highlighting how collaborative models can enhance the scale, sustainability, and equity of interventions.
