Dr. Sayed Rubayet

Dr. Sayed Rubayet is the Project Director of Save the Children’s Saving Newborn Lives project in Bangladesh. He is a public health professional with 20 years of experience in newborn and child health, immunization, disease surveillance and health system strengthening. Prior to SNL he was coordinating the national scale-up of HBB initiatives in the country, and before joining Save the Children, he worked with WHO as a Surveillance Medical Officer in the Polio Eradication and EPI program in Bangladesh. Dr. Rubayet holds an MBBS degree from Chittagong Medical College, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh and an MPH from the School of Health Science, State University of Bangladesh.
