The GFF × CIVIC Platform is a joint initiative of the GFF and CIVIC: The Civil Society and Social Innovation Alliance. Supported by a US$10 million investment over two years, the platform drives meaningful participation of civil society and youth-led organizations in 26 GFF partner countries through subgrants and targeted technical assistance.

Following an open call for proposals launched in July 2025, two CSO/YLO consortiums were competitively selected to lead the GFF x CIVIC platform's work. The two consortiums are organized around the platform’s two core pillars:

Pillar 1: VOICES—Strengthening civil society engagement and community voice for domestic resource mobilization

Led by PATH, with the African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP) and the Organisation of African Youth (OAY), this consortium works to strengthen civil society engagement and youth leadership to advance domestic resource mobilization for women’s, children’s and adolescent health. Through grants to local CSOs and YLOs, capacity strengthening, structured policy dialogue, and accountability mechanisms, it supports civil society and youth-leading organizations to influence financing decisions and shape health system priorities.

VOICES CONSORTIUM FUNDING OPPORTUNITY: CALL FOR PROPOSALS

 

On September 15, 2026, the VOICES consortium launched their Call for Proposals, opening the opportunity for eligible local organizations in 22 GFF partner countries to apply.

Pillar 2: ALIGN—Scaling community-led solutions for adolescent health and nutrition

Led by Action Against Hunger, with the Emergency Nutrition Network (ENN) and The Youth Café (TYC), this consortium works to scale and institutionalize community-led innovations to strengthen adolescent nutrition and health outcomes. Through evidence-based activities that connect local actors to governance processes and strengthen advocacy and coordination networks, it helps adapt, harmonize and scale CSO and youth-led solutions with national health systems.
