No. 9 in the GFF/WHO Health Financing & PHC Webinar Series

Although Primary Health Care (PHC) has been recognized as essential for the success of Universal Health Coverage (UHC), the resources allocated are insufficient and difficult to identify.

This webinar—the English version of our March 28 webinar conducted in French—will address this issue and present an approach aimed at better understanding these issues: resource mapping and expenditure tracking (RMET). Examples from Ethiopia, Indonesia and Zimbabwe will be highlighted, and an expert discussion will help us identify how this approach can help improve PHC financing.

Join us online, via Zoom.

Agenda:

  • Introduction — Manjiri Bhawalkar (GFF)
  • Presentation on global-level evidence on resource tracking for PHC — Ellen Van de Poel (World Bank)
