The Global Financing Facility (GFF) and Every Women, Every Child will convene a Twitter chat on September 22, 2016 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. EST. EWEC and the GFF work hand-in-hand to achieve the aims of the Global Strategy and of the Sustainable Development Goals. The chat, to be hosted by Every Woman, Every Child as part of its communications during the United Nations General Assembly, will focus on the key role that the private sector plays in achieving the aims of the GFF and in delivering on the SDGs for women, children and adolescents. Peter Singer @PeterASinger, Chief Executive Officer of Grand Challenges Canada and Sneha Kanneganti, Private Sector Engagement Specialist for the GFF will be answering questions.

Biography

Peter Singer has dedicated the last decade to bringing innovation to tackling the health challenges of the world’s poorest people. He is well known around the world for his creative solutions to some of the most pressing global health challenges. Dr. Singer is Chief Executive Officer of Grand Challenges Canada. He is also Professor of Medicine at University of Toronto, Director at the Sandra Rotman Centre at University Health Network, and Foreign Secretary of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences.
