This short report explains 1) why counting stillbirths is important for GFF-supported countries; 2) the challenges to reporting stillbirths; 3) the recent changes that have been implemented by some countries and global organizations to strengthen the counting of stillbirths; 4) the current state of stillbirth reporting in GFF-supported countries; 5) how countries can improve the monitoring and reporting of stillbirths, and 6) how countries can leverage the GFF partnership to improve stillbirth reporting and prevention.
