The world continues to face multiple overlapping challenges that threaten progress in health for women, children, and adolescents. But in the face of crisis, countries and communities have shown enduring commitment to building a healthier future for all women and children. With support from the GFF partnership, countries have laid the foundations for equitable and resilient health systems benefitting women, children and adolescents. This year, more GFF partner countries are on track to achieve better outcomes in reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health and nutrition, despite the COVID-19 pandemic and other crises.  Yet, progress is still mixed, and inequities are widening is some areas.

This annual report provides a deeper look into the state of progress in health for women, children and adolescent in GFF partner countries and unpacks the impact of COVID-19 and other crises on countries and communities. It also looks at specific examples of how the GFF partnership has helped countries build more resilient and equitable primary health care systems to deliver better health and nutrition outcomes.
