Haiti’s investment case, under development, focuses on channeling more resources to the frontlines to meet population health needs in the most vulnerable areas while strengthening community service delivery to improve preventative care. In this context, the government led the launch of a national community health workers strategy to deploy health care workers across communities with the highest needs and is investing in supply chains for medical equipment and laboratory capacity.

To strengthen data-informed decision making, the government continues to invest in epidemiological surveillance and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, building on past improvements in health management information systems. The GFF is acting as a catalyst for leveraging and aligning partnerships around these priority areas.
